Reporters Without Borders (RSF) is a Paris-based, globally operating and acknowledged, leading press freedom watchdog, with offices in 14 cities around the world and a consultative status in the UN, Unesco, etc. With our advocacy- and solutions-driven approach we advance the safety of journalists, the informational self-determination of every individual and a healthier polity overall.

To further strengthen our Journalism Trust Initiative (JTI), we are looking for a service provider to develop the initiative in Greece:

Reporting to the JTI Global Manager, duties will include, but not be limited to:

Disseminate JTI towards media and partners

- Collect data and contacts to launch outreach campaigns in Greece

- Contact media outlets to present JTI

- Contact media outlets and partners to organize JTI workshops

- Develop Journalism Trust Initiative network in the country

Support media outlets onboarding on JTI

- Support media outlets in the Journalism Trust Initiative process (signups, from assessment stage up to the audit phase)

- Pre-fill assessments for a number of media outlets

- Identify speaking opportunities and events to promote the Journalism Trust Initiative

- Present the initiative at workshops and conferences

- Prepare logistics and content for workshops and conferences

Coordinate with the headquarter team

- Coordinate activities with the JTI Global Manager and the other representatives of the region

- Participate in seminars and workshops with JTI representatives of the region

Pre-requisites:

The service provider must be in compliance with local government regulations and be able to issue invoices that comply with local legislation.

Compensation:

Remuneration will be based on activities and objectives.

Location: Greece

Contract: 6 months / Part-time position / Freelance contract
