"We are not going to be silenced!"

Reporting is a risky occupation in Colombia, especially for those covering corruption, organized crime or human rights violations. Colombia is the second deadliest country for journalists in the Americas: 56 were killed from January, 2000 to September, 2014. On the national day of journalist, Reporters Without Borders gives the floor to Colombian journalists and asks them: ‘What would your most precious gift be?’ Colombia is ranked 126th of 180 countries in the World Press Freedom Index published by Reporters Without Borders in 2014.
