United we stand for Hungary and the European Union

Members of the European Parliament will have to make a key choice for Europe’s future on 12 September, between ensuring respect for European values or allowing the Hungarian government to flout them and letting other European Union member states take the same road. Together with Amnesty International, Human Rights Watch, Open Society European Policy Institute and other Hungarian and European NGOs, RSF calls on MEPs to vote "yes" to defend European values, especially respect for human rights, the rule of law and press freedom.
