Russian journalist deprived of his passport and left in legal limbo
A court of appeal upheld a verdict of "forgery" against Russian journalist Yuri Bagrov, the sole correspondent for Western media in Vladikavkaz, capital of North Ossetia. The Russian authorities accused him of having obtained a false passport. The verdict means he has now been stripped of his nationality.
