Margaux Ewen, North America Director
Margaux runs the U.S. activities for the organization and advocates for journalists, bloggers and media rights worldwide. Acting as RSF’s spokesperson in the U.S., Margaux regularly appears on American media (CNN, VOA, The Daily Show, etc.) and foreign media (BBC, Al Jazeera, France 24, etc.) on press freedom violation issues and the work of RSF. Margaux joined RSF’s US office in July 2015 as Advocacy and Communications Director with a background in International Law. She has degrees from the Sorbonne in France and the George Washington University Law School in the US and speaks fluent French. Prior to RSF, she most recently worked with the American Bar Association’s Rule of Law Initiative to help develop a training manual on mining and human rights for civil society in Guinea.
Hilary Koss, North America Development Manager
Hilary oversees the fundraising opportunities for the US, Canada, and English-speaking Caribbean. Before joining RSF in March 2018, Hilary was formerly the Major Gifts and Planned Giving Coordinator at National Geographic before being promoted to Planned Giving Specialist. She’s worked on fundraising for the Conquer Cancer Foundation, Alley Cat Allies, and volunteers her graphic design services to local nonprofits to assist with their fundraising efforts. Hilary has a Masters in Comparative Ethnic Conflict from Queen's University Belfast and a Bachelors in Politics and Theatre from Converse College.

Noni Ghani, North America Communications Officer
Noni joined RSF in January of 2017. She has a BA from Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut where she majored in English Literature and Urban Studies. Noni covers online communication including press releases, op-eds, social media and newsletters, implements RSFs communications strategies, and answers media inquiries.

Daphne Pellegrino, North America Advocacy Officer
Daphne Pellegrino joined RSF as Advocacy Officer in March 2018. She was previously an RSF intern. Daphne received a BA in multi-platform journalism from the University of Maryland. She is in charge of implementing, developing, and promoting the advocacy campaigns and strategies of RSF in the United States.
