Netizens arrested

The netizen Ahmed Yousif Al-Dairy and his two sons were arrested. He was not given the treatment he needed for his diabetes, his lawyers were not able to see him, and the authorities said nothing about the case. He was one of the moderators of the forum Aldair (http://www.aldair.net/forum/), like Zakariya Rashid Hassan, who was arrested the next day and died in detention a week later after allegedly being tortured. Al-Dairy’s family feared that he could suffer the same fate. Ahmed Yousif Al-Dairy was finally released on 3 July.
