03.04 - Nepal : activists intercept delivery truck and torch copies of Kantipur Daily Members of the Madhesi People's Rights Forum (MPRF) intercepted and burned copies of Kantipur Daily as they were being trucked from the regional office in Biratnagar to the district of Saptari yesterday. MPRF members stopped and emptied the delivery truck and then doused the newspapers with kerosene before setting them alight. They said they were doing it because Kantipur Daily did not publish “our news.”
