Komsomolskaya Pravda abducted near Ajdabiya

The two Komsomolskaya Pravda reporters, Dmitry Steshin and Aleksandr Kots, were abducted near Ajdabiya. They managed to phone their newspaper at 11:10 a.m. (Paris time) to report that gunmen had intercepted their vehicle and were taking them in an unknown direction. The rebels released them that evening. Several cameramen working for the Russian television station NTV were kidnapped at the same time. An NTV representative said they were later released.
