Journalists kept at the airport

A France 24 crew was forced to spend the night at the airport on arriving in Manama and could not get out until the next afternoon. Its transmission equipment was confiscated. Some journalists arriving in Bahrain, such as a France 2 crew, were given only 72-hour visas. A BBC journalist was briefly detained and his equipment was seized.
