An Iranian journalist targeted by Iranian secret services

Cable 10LONDON131 According to this cable, Ali Reza Nourizadeh, Iranian dissident and journalist with Voice of America, had been targeted by Iranian intelligence. Nourizadeh was approached some months ago by Mohammad Reza Sadeqinia, an Iranian national who was later arrested in California on charges of soliciting murder after he attempted to hire a hitman to kill Iranian-American broadcaster Jamshid Sharmahd.
