The head of Radio Kalima began a hunger strike

The head of Radio Kalima, Omar Mestiri, began a hunger strike in protest against the prime minister’s failure to keep the promises he made publicly to issue formerly clandestine radio stations like Radio Kalima with a licence. Mestiri said he would continue his hunger strike until his station was granted a licence.
