Distributor of the newspaper Al-Tajamou attacked and beaten

Ali Iskander, a distributor of the newspaper Al-Tajamou, was attacked and beaten by pro-government thugs known as baltagiya on Sanaa’s Al-Zabiri Street. They seized copies of the newspaper and threatened to cut Iskander’s tongue out. They also threatened to attack the newspaper’s headquarters if it continued to publish articles criticizing President Ali Abdallah Saleh.
