Bloggers arrested and interrogated

The netizens Mahmoud Al-Youssef and Manaf Al-Muhandis were arrested and interrogated, before being released the next day. They were two of the bloggers and human rights activists whose photos had been circulated on the Internet with the legend “traitors to the homeland.” Mohamed Al-Maskati, who blogs under the name of Emoodz, was also arrested and held for eight days. He had been threatened by a presumed member of the royal family, Mohd Al-Khalifa (https://twitter.com/#!/MohdSAlkhalifa) after blogging actively and posting videos of the demonstrations of past few weeks events on his blog (http://emoodz.com/) and on Twitter (http://twitter.com/emoodz).
