Are you a student ?

Getting involved with Reporters Without Borders on the Press Freedom campaign will ask you to get in touch with one of our contacts in the United States. You can find them here. Here are a some ideas

- Create a RWB club in your Universities to gather lost of RWB fans. The challenge ? Create a videoclip on press freedom. Have you seen this one ? Begin by passing it on. Then, make your own, send it to [email protected] until March 15th and the winning University will host a press conference on World Press Freedom day with RWB' well known speakers and reporters. - Create a special column on press freedom in your newspapers. You can ask for these inserts to be displayed but also talk about specific issues and write articles about jailed reporters or cyberdissidents. - Ask your dean to host a forum on that issue with some journalists of your local newspapers. You will be surprised to know that some of them might already be in trouble for they wanted to publish a news for you to read it. Actually, in the United States, 19 journalists have been sued since 2001. ANY OTHER IDEAS ?
