Al-Quds Al-Arabi correspondent turned back by the police

Al-Quds Al-Arabi correspondent Lotfi Hidouri was turned back by the police when he went to cover a demonstration by more than 100 people outside the Tunisian General Labour Union (UGTT) in Tunis to press the government to prioritize the region’s economic development. Police surrounded the demonstrators to prevent them from marching to the city centre.
