Ulrik Haagerup is the founder and CEO of Constructive Institute at Aarhus University with a mission of changing the global news culture in 5 years. For 10 years he was the Executive Director of News at the Danish Broadcasting Corporation, Denmark's public service broadcaster. He was previously editor-in-chief at Nordjyske Media from 2002 to 2007. He is the author of A Good Idea – Did You Get It? (2005) and Constructive News (2014). In 2008 he was a Member of the World Economic Forum’s Global Agenda Council on the Future of Journalism. His education as a journalist includes being a John S. Knight Fellow at Stanford University, in addition to furthering his education at INSEAD, IMD, the Stanford Research Institute and the Wharton Business School, University of Pennsylvania.
