The Stateless
At first just a blog but now a full-blown news website about the Rohingya community, The Stateless was launched by Mohammed Rafique, who was a stateless person for 31 years until he obtained in Irish passport in 2013, for which he is very grateful. After fleeing Myanmar, he and his family spent 17 years in a refugee camp in Bangladesh. Now he continues to document the serious human rights violations against thousands of other members of the Rohingya community still in Myanmar – including his parents. Although the website’s name does not appear in any official document, it has been blocked since the end of March 2020.
