Kodao

Founded in 2001, Kodao Productions is an alternative multimedia group that makes video documentaries on such burning issues as environmental destruction, human rights and marginalized sectors of Philippine society. It also produces programmes for national radio networks and community radio stations throughout the country, and has helped various groups set up their own community radio stations such as Radyo Sagada and Radyo Cagayano.

Since posting articles about the murder of Randy Malayao, a peace consultant with a far-left coalition who was gunned down on 30 January 2019, Kodao has been the target of a series of cyber-attacks that have inundated its website and rendered it inaccessible. The latest was on 4 February.
